How and where do I ship my items? 

Once you have placed your order you will receive a confirmation  email with my address and detail on how best to send your items of clothing to me 

 

If I live local can I drop off  my clothing to you and pick up once made ?

yes you can, if you leave local to London islington and would like to drop off / pick up please get in contact before ordering to arrange this option.

 

Do we ship overseas?

At present I only ship to the UK and Northern Ireland

 

How do my keepsake get sent back to me?

All keepsake will be posted with Royal Mail tracked 48 or for big orders over 8 items I will use a secure courier service. All return p&p charges will be at checkout

 

What if I don't have enough clothing to send in?

If you don't  have enough clothing required to send in for your chosen keepsake, please send me over a message I can always add extra new fabric in many colours within the design, This will cost a little extra for the fabric to be added

 

What type of clothing can I send?

I can use most types of clothing and fabrics - the only exception is materials that are too thick to go through a domestic sewing machine, like really thick denim, leather or furs with thick linings. 

And it's not just clothing I can use, Some customers have sent in dog / cat bed fabric, bedding, curtains, fabric from play mats and even sofa chair fabric

If ordering a bear or animal plushie keepsake pleases mind that large writing or motifs might not fit on the small pieces to make up a bear / animal plushie If you are unsure please just send me over a message

 

Can I have input on the design of my chosen keepsake?

Of course you can, I will always work carefully to include the special parts of the clothing you send, but if you have any special requests then please do let me know. you can either leave me detail at check  out or write me a note attached to the clothing you are sending in, I will do everything I can to make your ideas work 

Please feel free to make notes with the clothes when you send them about which ones are most important to you

 

How many pieces of clothing should I send?

The information for each product tells you what you need to send for each item.

If you want to send some extra items that is fine, if you like bit of each or only use additional items if required.

Any items that  are completely unused will be returned to you with the order.

Can I send more than that?

If you send too much and I can’t use it all I will return any items that have not been cut in to at all.

If you want to send more and have particular ideas about which pieces are your favourites please enclose a note with your parcel saying which ones are to be used first.

If you have sent loads of clothing other than a extra 2-3 items I will have to change you extra p&p when returning them to you with 

 

What condition do the clothes need to be in?

The clothing you send in doesn't have to be freshly washed but please do not send any items with obviously overpowering smells and stains 

I will take as much as possible to retain smells of loved ones within the clothing but cant guarantee 

 The more worn out an item is the less likely the final keepsake is to be durable. If it is really falling apart and I think it will have a real impact on the final product I will get in touch to discuss whether or not we go ahead or use a different item.

Please send us your clothing as intact as possible, there is no necessity to pre-cut clothing as this may effect the design of the final product.

 

How long do orders take?

Once I have  received the clothes from you, I  aim to get the chosen keepsake / items back to you within approximately  8- 12 weeks

If there is a specific date you need the item by then put a note of it in the special notes box at check out,  

if within the approx turnaround time of 8- 12 weeks I will try my best to get back to you for this time, I also offer a Express Service turn around time of 3-4 weeks on recipe of clothing for a extra fee

Please be realistic about the time-frame, these are very bespoke 

 

How long do I have to send the clothing?

You have up-to 12 months after purchase to send your clothing into me, If I  haven't received your clothing after the 12 months period  your order will be invalid  or i may ask for a  additional payment to complete the order. Please get in touch as soon as possible if you need longer to make your decisions, I know that choosing the clothing can be a difficult process.

 

Can I have any clothing remnants returned to me? 

Yes, any full items of clothing not used for your keepsake will be sent back to you, if you have sent loads more items of clothing than requested I may have to change you for extra p&p

If  you would like any off cuts sent back please state this requite when sending the clothing into me or write a note in the note notes section  at check out .

If you change your mind after receiving your order and within 2 weeks would like the off-cuts back 

I will happily return the remnants back to you. There will be an additional p&p charge for this. All off-cuts after 2 weeks will be collected by a local recycling company. 

 

 

ARE YOUR KEEPSAKES SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN? CAN IT BE USED AS A TOY?

Memorial keepsake items are NOT toys and are for display purposes only. Please treat them with care. They can not be CE tested due to being made from clothing

Because your keepsakes are made from you precious clothing, I am unable to CE safety test them - I would need to burn the clothes you send to do so!

Whilst I take every precaution to make my keepsakes as safe as possible, please note that they are sold as keepsakes and NOT toys. They are unsuitable for play and are for display purposes only. They should NOT be 

left alone with child under 14 

 

Can I return an item?

I cannot accept personalised items back unless they are actually faulty. Due to items being personalised and made to order from clothing you proved no returns or refunds can be accepted,

Please note that there is a wide variation in how the keepsakes come out, due to the very different natures of the fabrics I receive and the final item may well not look exactly like the pictures on our product pages.
